Chili Cheese Chicken Crispers

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (rinsed and patted dry)
  • 1/2 package of chili seasoning (I just use McCormmicks chili seasoning)
  • 1 cup sour cream (you can use light, but I don't)
  • 2 or 3 cups of crushed Tabasco-flavored Cheezits
  • 2 tbs of butter


Rinse and pat dry chicken breast (I just find stuff sticks better). In a bowl, combine the sour cream and the chili seasoning mix (I just eyeball it. Taste to suit your liking.) Roll chicken breast in sour cream mixture. Then in a gallon zip-lock bag, place crushed Cheezits and 2 chicken breasts at a time, shaking and coating as much as possible. Place coated chicken into a casserole dish. Melt 2 tbs of butter and then drizzle over chicken breast evenly. Cover and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Bake until coating is a nice golden copper color.
